【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtodeterminetheamountofresidualpowderandnon-powdersolidsfoundonmedicalgloves.Thistestmethodissuitableanddesignedasareferencemethodtoevaluatesamplesofmedicalgloves.ThemassfoundusingProcedureII,forpowderedgloves,isassumedtobeacombinationofwater-insolubleresidueremainingafterthemanufacturingprocess,formerreleaseagentsanddonningpowder.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofaveragepowderorfilter-retainedmassfoundonasampleofmedicalglovesasdescribedintheintroduction.1.2Theaveragepowdermasspergloveisreportedinmilligrams.1.3Thesafeandproperuseofmedicalglovesisbeyondthescopeofthistestmethod.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
