【摘要】:1.1ThisspecificationcoversrigidPVCandCPVCcompoundsintendedforgeneralpurposeuseinextrudedormoldedform,includingpipingapplicationsinvolvingspecialchemicalandacidresistanceorheatresistance,composedofpoly(vinylchloride),chlorinatedpoly(vinylchloride),orvinylchloridecopolymerscontainingatleast80%vinylchloride,andthenecessarycompoundingingredients.Thecompoundingingredientsmayconsistoflubricants,stabilizers,non-poly(vinylchloride)resinmodifiers,pigments,andinorganicfillers.Note1Selectionofspecificcompoundsforparticularendusesorapplicationsrequiresconsiderationofothercharacteristicssuchasthermalproperties,opticalproperties,weatherresistance,etc.Specificrequirementsandtestmethodsforthesepropertiesshallbebymutualagreementbetweenthepurchaserandtheseller.1.2RigidPVCcompoundsintendedforpipe,fittings,andotherpipingappurtenancesarecoveredinSpecificationsD3915andD4396.1.3RigidPVCcompoundsforexteriorbuildingproductapplicationsarecoveredinSpecificationD4216.1.4Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisspecification.1.5RigidPVCrecycleplasticsmeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationmaybeusedinsomeapplications.Refertothespecificrequirementsinthematerialsandmanufacturesectionoftheapplicableproductstandard.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note2Thisspecificationissimilarincontent(butnottechnicallyequivalent)toISO1163-1:1985andISO1163-2:1980.
