【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetensilepropertiesofnonreinforcedgeomembranesintheformofstandarddumbbell-shapedtestspecimenswhentestedunderdefinedconditionsofpretreatment,temperatureandmachinespeed.1.2Thistestmethodcanbeusedfortestingmaterialsthicknessbetween0.25mm(0.010in)and6.3mm(0.25in.).Note18212;Thistestmethodisnotintendedtocoverprecisephysicalprocedures.Theconstantrateofcrossheadmovementofthistestlacksaccuracyfromatheoreticalstandpoint.Awidedifferencemayexistbetweentherateofcrossheadmovementandtherateofstrainofthespecimenindicatingthatthetestingspeedsspecifiedmaydisguiseimportanteffectsorcharacteristicsofthesematerialsintheplasticstate.Further,itisrealizedthatvariationsinthethicknessesoftestspecimen,aspermittedbythisteststandard,producevariationsinthesurface-volumeratiosofsuchspecimens,andthatthesevariationsmayinfluencethetestresults.Hence,wheredirectlycomparableresultsaredesired,allsamplesshouldbeofequalthickness.Specialadditionaltestsshouldbeusedwheremoreprecisephysicaldataareneeded.1.3Testdataobtainedbythistestmethodisrelevantandmaybeappropriateforuseinengineeringdesignwithconsiderationoftestconditionsascomparedtoin-serviceconditions.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
